Shinwon Market: The charm of a cheap and hearty traditional market

Located at 40-4, Sinwon-ro 3-gil, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, Shinwon Market is the oldest traditional market in Gwanak-gu. It's a four-minute walk from Exit 4 of Sillim Station, so it's easily accessible and bustling with people every day. The market has a variety of amenities, including an overhead arcade, parking lot, and restrooms, making it a convenient place to shop.

A hearty meal for young people

Sinwon Market is known for its affordable yet hearty restaurants. This is due to the fact that Gosi Village in Sillim-dong used to be located nearby. Although Gosi Village disappeared when the judicial examination was abolished, the restaurants that used to serve hot and hearty meals to young people studying day and night still stand.
