Mongchon Toseong Fortress: Discover Baekje History

Mongchon Toseong Fortress is a 2.4-kilometer-long early Baekje fortress located within the Olympic Park. Although it looks like a flat castle due to the surrounding terrain changes, it was originally an acidic castle that stretched down from Mount Namhansan. Excavations were conducted from 1983 to 1988, and various types of Baekje earthenware and other artifacts were unearthed. The Mongchon History Museum displays some of the excavated artifacts and the site of the Baekje hut. Mongchon Toseong Fortress is designated as Historic Site No. 297.
