  • 1.8 L rice water

How to make

  1. In a 20L pint jar, combine 1.8L of rice water, 20g of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, and at least 20mL of EM Source Liquid.
  2. Ferment for 7 to 10 days. During the fermentation period, gas may occur every 2-3 days, so remove it.
  3. When fermentation is complete, the flavor should smell sour and aromatic, similar to rice wine. If there is a foul odor, the fermentation has failed.
