Ttukdo Market Overview
Ttukdo Market is a traditional market that has been around since the 1960s, deriving its name from the fact that Ttukdo Island was once called Ttukdo. It consists of about 120 shops, selling a wide range of items from vegetables, fruits, and meat to clothing and daily necessities. Seoul Forest was the first park to be created with citizen participation, and is a sprawling park with various themes. Seongsu-dong Handmade Shoe Street was formed in the 1970s when companies specializing in handmade shoes began to gather. Today, it is home to 70% of the country's handmade shoe manufacturers, and is the largest handmade shoe street in Korea where you can buy handmade shoes of various designs. It has a system that enables product development and design, manufacturing, and distribution all at once.
